Meeting Amy and Sheryl for the first time was like going to a party – it was fun, surprising and I had the best time! So often my consultations are just like that, we all hit it off and enjoy each other's company and it never feels like we're working at all, but we always get a great deal accomplished.
While they both had some excellent ideas for their wedding invitation suite, they were also open to exploring new ones to make their colors the stars of the stage. And they are definitely bright! I have to say, these are the brightest colors I've had the pleasure to work with thus far: raspberry, grape purple and cerulean blue. And on top of that, Amy had a request to use a shimmery paper to maximize the color. Some might have thought, at first glance, this might have been overkill but I could see how this might work in the right design without looking garish. Without the right design, it had the potential of looking pretty Vegas.
Several design ideas were presented, but they chose the hibiscus design above which I believed was the best solution. The flowers incorporated their colors beautifully and also provided a way to blend the colors seamlessly.
The entire suite includes the main invitation, reply card with printed custom envelopes, enclosure card, rehearsal/brunch invite, programs, table numbers, thank you notes and four signs (not pictured) for the guest book, for cards, for drinks and in loving memory of.
